Flygt F 3171 is an N-technology chopper pump for difficult wastewater and sludge. Its Hard-Iron cutting ring and impeller help reduce textiles and fibrous solids into transportable pieces. A Plug-in seal with Active Seal and configuration-specific cooling form part of the motor protection arrangement. Published 50 Hz versions span 15–22 kW with 100 or 150 mm discharges. This N-technology model is distinct from F 3171 Industrial, which uses an S-shaped impeller.
