4430
Low-speed submersible mixer
Flygt 4430 is a geared submersible model for low-speed mixing in large treatment basins. The 50 Hz data sheet lists a 4.3 kW motor, a 410–3,847 N thrust range and 1.4–2.5 m propeller options. Propeller diameter and speed are assessed together for activated sludge, oxidation ditches and retention tanks. Its self-cleaning blade geometry and guide-bar mounting support operation and maintenance in fibrous liquids.
Final performance and suitability are verified for the selected model and duty point.
UNDERSTAND THE APPLICATION
A solution for your application.
Application areas
Activated sludge and biological treatment basins · Equalisation and sludge holding tanks · Processes requiring solids suspension
Selection considerations
Determine thrust and positioning from tank dimensions, liquid level and solids concentration. Motor power alone is insufficient for selection.
Share tank dimensions, liquid level, temperature and solids concentration with our technical team. We can assess thrust, mixing objectives and installation together.
